Summer Rising 2024. New york city public schools (nycps) is looking forward to partnering with the department of youth and community development (dycd) once again for summer rising 2024. Last summer’s peak was 12.8%, at the end of august.
The free program is open to children in kindergarten through eighth grade across the five boroughs. Summer rising is a free program available to all new york city residents attending school in grades kindergarten through 8th grade.
